One hour, and the essentials of the Valais Alps. The flight strings together the Grand Combin massif, the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and its Dufourspitze — the roof of Switzerland at 4,634 metres — the Mischabel chain, then drops onto the Aletsch glacier, twenty-three kilometres of ice on the World Heritage list. This is the full programme, the one you book when you are not coming back. The mountain landing is included in the price, with a bottle of wine offered by the operator. The aircraft is chartered whole, five seats on board. Price converted from Swiss francs.

Frequently asked questions

Can the aircraft be chartered privately?
Yes. All our scenic flights can be privatised — the whole aircraft to yourself, whatever the number of passengers. It is also the only way to guarantee an exact departure time, since a shared flight depends on the aircraft filling up.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A flight never departs in degraded conditions: the decision rests with the pilot, usually the day before. The flight is then postponed, or refunded, according to the operator's own terms — we reproduce them word for word on each page, before any request.
Can children fly?
Yes, from the age of 2 on most aircraft, and on an adult's lap below that age depending on the operator. Each passenger's weight is requested at booking so the aircraft can be correctly balanced.
