The Imperial Crown by helicopter

Five 4,000-metre peaks in a row: Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn, Matterhorn and Dent Blanche.

Thirty minutes to line up five peaks above four thousand metres. The aircraft climbs the Val d'Anniviers, then faces the Weisshorn, the Zinalrothorn and the Obergabelhorn before opening onto the Matterhorn from the north and closing the loop on the Dent Blanche. The five giants pass at ridge height, in the order they present themselves from Zinal. It is the most requested flight from the base. The aircraft is chartered whole, five seats on board. Price converted from Swiss francs.

Frequently asked questions

Can the aircraft be chartered privately?
Yes. All our scenic flights can be privatised — the whole aircraft to yourself, whatever the number of passengers. It is also the only way to guarantee an exact departure time, since a shared flight depends on the aircraft filling up.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A flight never departs in degraded conditions: the decision rests with the pilot, usually the day before. The flight is then postponed, or refunded, according to the operator's own terms — we reproduce them word for word on each page, before any request.
Can children fly?
Yes, from the age of 2 on most aircraft, and on an adult's lap below that age depending on the operator. Each passenger's weight is requested at booking so the aircraft can be correctly balanced.
