Patrouille des Glaciers by helicopter

The Matterhorn, the Tête Blanche and the route of the hardest ski-mountaineering race in Europe.

Forty-five minutes along the route of the hardest ski-mountaineering race in Europe, the one that links Zermatt to Verbier by the high route, at night, every other year. The flight takes in the Matterhorn and the Tête Blanche, the two high points of the course. Seen from the air the itinerary finally makes sense: you understand why it is run roped together and why it is won on endurance. Private aircraft, never shared with other passengers.

Frequently asked questions

Can the aircraft be chartered privately?
Yes. All our scenic flights can be privatised — the whole aircraft to yourself, whatever the number of passengers. It is also the only way to guarantee an exact departure time, since a shared flight depends on the aircraft filling up.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A flight never departs in degraded conditions: the decision rests with the pilot, usually the day before. The flight is then postponed, or refunded, according to the operator's own terms — we reproduce them word for word on each page, before any request.
Can children fly?
Yes, from the age of 2 on most aircraft, and on an adult's lap below that age depending on the operator. Each passenger's weight is requested at booking so the aircraft can be correctly balanced.
