The largest glacier in the Alps: twenty-three kilometres of ice on the World Heritage list.
Forty minutes above the largest glacier in the Alps. Twenty-three kilometres of ice, up to nine hundred metres thick, and the black moraine bands that stripe it along its whole length like motorway lanes. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2001. No viewpoint on the ground conveys its real scale, which is the only argument this flight needs. Private aircraft, never shared with other passengers.
Frequently asked questions
Can the aircraft be chartered privately?
Yes. All our scenic flights can be privatised — the whole aircraft to yourself, whatever the number of passengers. It is also the only way to guarantee an exact departure time, since a shared flight depends on the aircraft filling up.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A flight never departs in degraded conditions: the decision rests with the pilot, usually the day before. The flight is then postponed, or refunded, according to the operator's own terms — we reproduce them word for word on each page, before any request.
Can children fly?
Yes, from the age of 2 on most aircraft, and on an adult's lap below that age depending on the operator. Each passenger's weight is requested at booking so the aircraft can be correctly balanced.
