Geneva — Val d'Isère helicopter transfer

The whole Tarentaise unfolds below; in winter it is the only way to avoid the gridlocked valley.

The flight runs the length of the Tarentaise to the mountain airstrip at Val d'Isère, at 1,850 metres. It is the longest alpine transfer — and the one where the gain over the road is most striking: forty-five minutes against three and a half hours in midwinter.

Frequently asked questions

Is the price per person or for the aircraft?
For the whole aircraft, crew and taxes included. Whether there are one, four or six of you, the price does not change — only the capacity of the aircraft chosen matters.
How much luggage can we take?
Allow one hold bag and one cabin bag per passenger on a mid-size aircraft; skis and golf bags should be mentioned at booking so the right machine is chosen.
Can we take off or land somewhere other than an airport?
Often, yes: hotels and properties with an approved helipad, subject to notice and, depending on the configuration, a twin-engine aircraft. We check feasibility before confirming the quote.
