The castle standing in the river Cher, its two rival gardens and the manors of the valley.
Thirty minutes built around a single castle, the one that spans the Cher. The aircraft follows the valley up to Chenonceau, lines up with the gallery and shows what the ground never does: the five arches standing in the current, Diane de Poitiers' garden on one side, Catherine de Medici's on the other, drawn against each other. The return leg runs along the manors and the Montlouis vineyards. It is the most requested flight out of Tours.
Frequently asked questions
Can the aircraft be chartered privately?
Yes. All our scenic flights can be privatised — the whole aircraft to yourself, whatever the number of passengers. It is also the only way to guarantee an exact departure time, since a shared flight depends on the aircraft filling up.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A flight never departs in degraded conditions: the decision rests with the pilot, usually the day before. The flight is then postponed, or refunded, according to the operator's own terms — we reproduce them word for word on each page, before any request.
Can children fly?
Yes, from the age of 2 on most aircraft, and on an adult's lap below that age depending on the operator. Each passenger's weight is requested at booking so the aircraft can be correctly balanced.
