Launched in 2010, the R66 takes the R44's architecture and builds it around a Rolls-Royce RR300 turbine. The gain is twofold: one extra passenger seat and an 8 cubic foot baggage hold, absent from the R44, which makes it genuinely usable for transfers with luggage.
